estimated taxes

Turbo tax is blocking me from editing my estimated taxes for 2018.  I'm just getting a blank screen whenever I try to enter the amount

What TurboTax program are you using?  The TurboTax online web based editions?  Or the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions installed on a personal computer?  If on your computer which OS, Windows or Mac?  If Windows which version, Win 10, Win 7, etc.?

Ok...Try this

Exit the TurboTax program, make sure that you save your tax file.

When the program is closed, right click on the TurboTax desktop icon for 2018.

Click on Properties

Click on the Compatibility tab

Check the box to Run this program as an administrator

Click on Apply.  Click on OK

Start the TurboTax program.  See if the problem has been resolved.
