Energy Tax Credit

In 2019 I had installed on my home Prodigy Insulated siding with 1 and 1/2 inch insulation attached to it. Can I claim a energy saving tax credit on this siding?

Unfortunately, you can't. There's not a federal tax credit available for energy-efficient siding as you describe.

JohnR222, thank you for the response/answer. Sad that they (IRS) doesn't consider house siding with 1.5 inches of insulation attached to it, an energy saving insulation for homes.
