Mine did.....but if you are using a different "Online" account than you did last year, those charities probably didn't transfer.....nor would they if you were in the correct account...but did a clear and start-over without the transfer of last year's forms.
Similar for desktop...if you start a 2025 file without transferring last year's tax file...then there's nothing there form the prior year in the new file.
Hmm. The software is serving up results from last year, and I can see my 2024 return in the software. But this year it doesn't bring forward my charities, and in other parts of the process seems not to be able to access data from my 2024 return ("please enter your 2024 AGI" - wait, don't you have that TurboTax??") It is a puzzler.
well.....
1) If you are using the "Desktop" software, you could start a new tax return, and make sure you select the proper .tax2024 datafile this time...to transfer in last year's data from the start of the new file. TTX doesn't have that information...only the file on your computer from 2024.
2) In the "Online" software, it automatically uses last year's data to transfer in all that information...but ONLY if you filed in the exact same account to file last year.
