Does the Gofundme funds used for medical bills, needs to be showed in tax filing?
Gofundme funds generated for critical medical treatment of in-law who visited USA on travel visa. And the medical bills were paid of using the funds and balance funds got refunded back to few donors. In such case, the used funds for clearing the medical bills , needs to be shown as income while tax filing ?

Because the funds raised were gifts and you used them for the medical expenses, they would not be taxable. The gofundme website has a great answer, see
