Yes, look for Property Owned by an Individual Tax Credit in the Nebraska tax section.

The Nebraska Property Tax Incentive Act provides a refundable income tax credit (credit) or credit against franchise tax imposed on financial institutions for any taxpayer who pays school district property taxes.

(Note: if you do not have to file a federal return, go to NebFile for Individuals and you can file there.)

Thanks. Have to file Nebraska separately in order to get tax credit for 2020. Wish I could see the forms as they are being filled out. I would have had my answer immediately if I could have seen the forms as they are calculated.

I’ve used TurboTax for years and have been very happy except for the cost of filing. Not sure which I’ll use next year. Since retirement and the huge jump in the standard deduction, our filing is much simpler.
