One guess.....if you received Social Security benefits, the Medicare premiums you entered when you entered your SSA1099 flowed in to the medical expense section.
Please clarify what "medical expense credit" you are referring to. Do you mean a medical expense deduction on Schedule A?

It is possible that you are seeing that medical expenses are a potential tax break, in that they can be deductible as itemized deductions, even though they may not be on your tax return as such.
You can view your form 1040 while in the online version of TurboTax and look on line 12 to see if your return shows the standard deduction or itemized deduction amount. The standard deduction for single people is $12,950 and $25,900 for joint filers in 2022.
