Do not have property tax index number

A property tax index number is shown on your county bill and/or assessment notice.  Sometimes it is called "parcel number" or "permanent index number."

If you do not have a copy of the bill or notice, then you can either check with your county assessors office (usually shown on-line), or you can contact your mortgage lender if your payments are paid by them.  They should have a copy of the county bill.
