If you do not have any mortgage on Form 1098 and TurboTax doesn't let you continue then you can select "Deduction & Credits" on top and then continue selecting any deductions and credits that apply.

If you have an entry for Form 1098 then try deleting the entry:

  1. Click on "Search" on the top right and type “1098”
  2. Click on “Jump to 1098”
  3. Delete any entries

Please see What is mortgage interest deduction for additional information.

I have no mortgage thus no 1098. Home is paid for for many years, but wants me to enter mortage company and interest on 1098 and will not let me go further when reviewing taxes

Note: Screen also does not have a mortage listed
