Do medical expenses include medical copay's that have added up through the year?

I had insurance for part of the year and then didn't for the last few months. Does the money I spent in copay count for my Tax return?

Yes, the out pocket funds you paid for copays is a valid medical expense reported on Schedule as an itemized deduction.

You can enter what you paid out of pocket for medical expenses as an itemized deduction. Only the total amount of medical expenses in excess of 7.5% of your AGI can be deducted on Schedule A. If the total deductions on Schedule A of medical and other deductible expenses exceed your standard deduction, you will get a tax benefit.
