Do I put the whole cost of a phone loan on my taxes or only the payments I have made during this calendar year?

I am paying off a new iPhone and two year warranty through Apple's iPhone Upgrade Program. I traded in my old iPhone for a credit off of the purchase. All sales taxes were paid for up front.
