Do I claim my property taxes from 2017 even if I haven't paid them yet? Or do I claim my property taxes from 2016 since I paid them in 2017?

If you paid your 2016 property taxes in 2017, you can claim them on your 2017 tax return. The year you claim property taxes is the year you paid them.

If you paid your 2016 property taxes in 2017, you can claim them on your 2017 tax return. The year you claim property taxes is the year you paid them.
