Good day, last Wednesday I was working on my taxes and had a question and called in and did the live help. The TurboTax representative asked to screen share and also asked me to send over my file using the TurboTax 2025 Premier desktop version. Today I noticed that there is a file on my computer that says "Diagnostic - do not file - 2025 last name form 1040 individual tax return.diag2025". When I sent my file via desktop TurboTax Premier, I clicked the "online" at top of program, clicked send tax file to agent. When it was received I got a "Token number" from TurboTax 2025 Diagnostic which stated a protected copy of your return has been sent.
Where did this come from, how do I read it, and do I need to keep it?
Thanks

A diagnostic file in TurboTax, was generated when you shared your data using a token with a TurboTax agent. It is a sanitized copy of your tax return designed for troubleshooting an issue in the TurboTax program.
It allows TurboTax agents to view your tax data to help resolve specific errors or calculation issues you may have encountered while using TurboTax.
The file is sanitized, which means all of your personally identifiable information (such as names, Social Security numbers, addresses) is removed. Only numbers related to your tax calculations and inputs can be seen.
You do not need to save the diagnostic file after sharing it.
Thank you so very much for this information.
I truly appreciate the quick response.
