Dependent Care Benefit box 10

My previous employer was a daycare. I have a child that I paid for my childcare from my check. It was just a standard deduction and not pre taxed or put into a FSA. But they totaled this and put in in box 10 and a dependent care credit. From my understanding this is for credit that my work would pay me or incur for me but this is not the case in my situation. I paid for my daycare out of my pay check to my work. So is this an error or their end?

Did you pay a reduced rate and does the box 5 amount reflect the reduction?
