Deduction for Training Expenses

My son needed to complete courses in a truck driving school in order to obtain his CDL license to drive semi tractor/trailers.  Is this deductible for his taxes?

Deduction for Training Expenses

If the school is an eligible education institution he can claim Lifetime Learning Credit. Check here:
