My employer reimbursed my vehicle mileage, however, my actual vehicle expenses calculate to a higher amount than the mileage. Can I deduct any portion of the actual vehicle expenses?

Yes, you can deduct the un-reimbursed portions of job-related expenses that exceed 2% of income threshold. See link below.
