I paid 800.00 in used car purchase. But is it worth entering that if my standard deductible is 6,300?

If you don't have more than $6300 in total itemized deductions (mortgage interest, state taxes withheld, charity, etc), then you should skip the sales tax deduction and take the standard deduction.
