Deduct expenses and no revenues
I have been running a real estate business and had revenues and expenses for multiple years. However in 2018 I had no revenues but I still had some expenses. Can I deduct those expenses from income from dividends?

Yes. It is not necessary to have income in order to deduct expenses for the business.
