Ctc child tax credits

I was wondering if me and my girlfriend can both file for the child tax credit or if only one parent can file for it???? thanks in advance.... Neither one of us got the child tax credit advance monthly payments either

You can't both claim the child tax credit. Only the one who claims the child on their tax return as a dependent can claim the child tax credit.

turbo tax will not connect to credit karma account for the refund advance option says the primary filer must match the account holders name why is it saying it doesn't?
