Child tax credit. I have one baby (born in 2018). turbotax calculated only 500$ credit (1040 line12) vs the max $2000 credit. I cant figure out why that happened. help!

Make sure that the baby's birthdate is entered correctly and, most importantly, check the box that the child did live with you all 12 months or more than half of the year. Even if the baby was born the second half of 2018, you treat the child as there the whole year.
