Child born in 2020 recover rebate

I have entered in my daughter's, who was born in 2020, information into turbotax.  When I get to the federal review, it shows that I should have received the additional $500 for the first stimulus check and $600 for the second.  However, upon review I missed putting in her SSN.  After I entered in her SSN, both of those amounts disappeared from the stimulus payments upon review?  Any idea why putting in my daughter's SSN is causing my return to lose the $1,100 from the stimulus?

Please make sure that you not accidently checked the box under the Social Security Number (SSN):

  1. Login to your TurboTax Account
  2. Click "My Info" from the left side of your screen
  3. Click “Edit” next to your child's name
  4. Go through the questions and make sure that the box under the SSN is not checked ("Social Security Number is not valid for employment")

Please go through the Recovery Rebate section again and see if that will trigger the correct amount:

  1. Log into TurboTax.
  2. After entering all your information click "Federal Review" at the top of your screen.
  3. On the screen "Let's make sure you got the right stimulus amount" click "Continue".
  4. You will be asked about the amounts of first round and second round stimulus payments you received.  If you did not receive a payment enter "0".
  5. TurboTax will then calculate the amount of stimulus payment remaining that you are still entitled to get.
  6. Any stimulus amount remaining due to you will show as a credit on line 30 of the 1040.

It is still not showing the correct amount for the stimulus.  It is showing the amount as though my daughter is not accounted for.  When I go in and delete just her SSN, the correct amount is shown!
