If you use the actual cost method (as opposed to the standard mileage deduction) you can include the out of pocket repair costs along with gas, insurance, maintenance etc. But if you are using the standard mileage deduction, you cannot deduct any part of the repair. I recommend you calculate the deduction for the business use of your vehicle both ways and use the one that gives you the largest deduction. That said, the standard mileage rate is a lot easier.
