Canadian living and working in US - Does my Canadian retirement savings plan count as "foreign assets"?

I'm a Canadian citizen, but I've been living and working in the US since August 1, 2016. I have a locked-in retirement account (LIRA) with a Canadian discount brokerage, with assets from my previous Canadian employment. Does this count as "foreign assets" that I have to report on my US tax form?

Yes, this is a foreign asset that has to be reported if you meet the filing threshold.
