No. There is no credit or deduction for paying off your mortgage. What you can deduct for homeownership is mortgage interest paid, property tax and loan origination points. But you paid off your mortgage---so celebrate!
A mortgage payoff is not reported on a tax return. Only the interest paid on the mortgage prior to payoff can be entered as an itemized deduction on Schedule A.
