The 3rd stimulus payment would have been sent to you in the March - May 2021 timeframe. It is not based on age. Look at your bank statement to see if the stimulus payment from the IRS for EIP3 in the amount of $2,800 is shown as a deposit.
the standard dedution if both are under 65 is $25,100 + an extra $1350 (not $1400) for each that is over 65
Everyone gets the 1,400 Stimulus payment unless their income is too high. You should have got it during the year when the IRS sent them out starting in March 2021. Check your bank deposits for 1,400 or 2,800 for married. If the IRS sent it to you then they should have mailed you letter 6475 saying how much they sent. Each spouse should get a letter for half. Did you get any letters? You should check both your IRS accounts if married to see how much the IRS sent you.

If you did not get the 3rtd Stimulus payment you can claim it as the Recovery Rebate Credit on 1040 line 30. But be sure you really didn't get it or the IRS will deduct it from your refund.

Next screen is for the Third Stimulus, if you qualify
If you did not get prompted to enter your stimulus information, that means you either:
Filed as a dependent being claimed on another tax return, or
have an AGI too high to claim the recovery rebate
Q. Do you get the larger, over 65, standard deduction in addition to the $1400 recovery rebate credit (stimulus payment).
A. Yes. The two tax breaks are unrelated.
Thanks Mike. How do I get this applied within turbotax?
TurboTax will automatically add the additional $1400 to your standard deduction if you qualify. TurboTax uses the date of birth you entered in your personal data to determine if you are 65 or older on the last day of the year@JAB6
Q. How do I get the additional standard deduction (an extra $1350 for each spouse is over 65) applied within turbotax?
A. That happens, automatically in TurboTax, based on the birthdate(s) you enter in the personal info section.
