Yes, you can deduct the interest paid on your RV loan .
To deduct the interest on your return:
- Log in to your account.
- Go to Federal Taxes.
- Go to Deductions and Credits.
- Click Start next to Mortgage Interest.

Can you deduct this interest if the loan is not secured and you lived in it for a month as your primary residence without having an actual mortgage on a real home?

Yes, you can deduct the interest on your RV loan it does mot have to be a "mortgage". An RV will quality as your primary home or second home if it has Sleeping, kitchen and bath facilities.
