Can you confirm for 2018 that Illinois no longer allows exemptions for kids? Prior yrs able to take me, spouse + 2 kids. This year appears you can only take 2 (max 4450).

You can still claim exemptions for kids (dependents), but it is now calculated on a separate form and then gets added to your other exemptions on Line 10 of IL-1040.
