Can't enter medical expenses in TurboTax Premier

I am trying to enter medical expenses.  All types of expenses show $0 and I can't enter anything.  Using TurboTax Premier, desktop, not the online version.

Can't enter medical expenses in TurboTax Premier

Medical expenses are entered in TurboTax Desktop in the Deductions & Credits > Medical > Medical Expenses category.

However, the amount shown will only be for expenses paid out-of-pocket. If you took an HSA distribution to pay for medical expenses or were reimbursed by insurance, they are not eligible for an itemized deduction. In those instances, your medical expenses would be displayed as $0 on the main Deductions & Credits screen.

Furthermore, medical expenses are not deductible as an itemized deduction until they exceed 7.5% of your adjusted gross income.

If you're using the desktop version:

Access medical worksheet in forms mode and click on the box for the medical expense you're wanting to complete.

Click the plus sign to the left of the box to expand the summary page and enter the information.
