Thanks. Guess I'm still confused. It looks like only 2 of my 3 got the child tax credit, my oldest who was 17 last year shows as 'other' dependent. But the credit is not the larger amount(that I now know hasn't been passed yet)
Right, they have to be under 17 on December 31 to get the Child Tax Credit.
Under 17, or 17 and under. She wasn't 18 until this year. Thanks for replies everyone!
UNDER 17 means 16 or younger in IRS speak.
Right 16 and under. Even if she turned 17 on December 31 she doesn't qualify.
