Can my Form 1040 show a standard deduction of 26,600 on line 8, when the standard deduction is only 24,000 for my filing status?

Yes. You get an extra 1,300 for each spouse over 65. You both must be 65 or older.

24,000+1,300+1,300 = 26,600.
