Can I used the solar energy tax credit for more than one system installation on my primary residence?

Installed solar panel system on primary residence in 2019 and received tax credit.  Considering adding to solar panel system on primary residence in 2023.  Can I submit another Residential Clean Energy Property Credit in 2023?

Yes, you would be eligible for the solar tax credit in 2023 if you install an additional solar system on your personal residence.

It's not clear if the credit would apply to replacing an old system with a new system.  More expert help would be needed.  But a new system added in addition to the old (expanding your capacity) will qualify.
