For example: TurboTax calculated that 8.36% of my home is used solely for my business as my home office. Can I deduct 8.36% of the total mortgage payments I made in 2024 and if so where would I put that information?

No, the principal on the mortgage is not an expense, as you are paying back money your borrowed. Since you don't pay tax on the money you borrow, you can't deduct the repayment as an expense.
