Can I still right off per diem this year. I've heard you cant right it off. But was sure if you couldn't or if people weren't since standard went up from itemized.

If you are a W-2 employee, the Employee Business Expenses no longer exists for 2018 with the new tax law, and this is where the Per Diem would have been listed.

If you are self-employed (have own business) the change in this part of the tax law will not impact you.
