Can I deduction property taxes on my deceased parents property where I am their only heir? Can I deduct all 6 years or just the current year?

The deed has my name as In care of. I have recently removed my Mothers name and  changed it to mine.

If the property is in your name and you paid the taxes, you can list all that was paid in 2018.

No penalties or interest if paid late, just the tax amount.

TurboTax will limit the deduction to $10,000 per the new tax law changes.

See this link for tax law changes if you want more detail on the $10,000 State and Local Tax (SALT) limit.

State And Local Taxes

You  can only deduct up to 10,000 for SALT State and Local Taxes.  And that includes any state withholding from your W2s and any 1099s you have. And property taxes.
