Yes those would be materials and supplies. Are you filling out Schedule C for self employment? If you don't track inventory or cost of goods sold you can put materials under Supplies or Other Misc Expenses. If you do track inventory they go under Cost of Goods Sold.
You can enter Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Premium version. Or use any of the Desktop CD/Download programs. You will get the most help in the Home & Business version.
