Can I deduct what I pay for my mother's nursing home health care?

I pay for my mother's home health aide. I am not reimbursed by her. Can I deduct on my own Tax Return?

You can only claim what you pay for your mother's nursing home health care if she is listed as a dependent on your income tax return.
