Generally tax return preparation fees are not deductible. However, if you’re self-employed or own a business, tax preparation fees directly related to your business operations remain deductible. This includes fees for preparing: Schedule c , E or F, 4835. Income taxes you paid to the Federal government aren't deductible.

No, federal taxes are not deductible.

 

As far as tax prep, miscellaneous itemized deductions are no longer deductible for federal purposes, but there are a few states that allow them. Check your specific state's instructions to see if they allow miscellaneous itemized deductions.
