Can I deduct unreimbursed employee expenses for a commission only job and last year I had no sales, therefore no W2. I have business cards and emails to prove employment

Since this was a commissions only job, you are not an employee. You are considered self-employed, so yes, you can deduct your business expenses like business cards, mileage, etc.

Since this was a commissions only job, you are not an employee. You are considered self-employed, so yes, you can deduct your business expenses like business cards, mileage, etc.
