Unfortunately, you can't take a deduction for these types of expenses anymore. Education expenses would've been iffy under the previous law, anyway.

Job-related expenses for employees are no longer deductible under the new law, even if they're for a potential job. Please see the TurboTax FAQ "Can employees deduct any job-related expenses?" below for more information.
