Can I deduct mortgage insurance premiums?

You are no longer able to deduct mortgage insurance premiums (PMI).  The deduction for mortgage insurance premiums has expired and was not renewed by Congress.

Has it?? Can you find something online to cite that it was? I have been watching this law with hopes it would pass soon and haven't found anything to say it had passed yet

The bill is called Tax Extenders and Disaster Relief Act of 2019 and as of March 13th it was still up in the air
