Can I deduct expenses that we pay out of pocket, for my disabled adult son?

No, you are not able to deduct expenses for food, clothing or over the counter medication you paid for your disabled son on your Tax Return. 

However, you can most likely claim your son as a Dependent on your Tax Return.  Check out the TurboTax FAQ below for the qualifications you must meet in order to claim him as a Dependent:

No, you are not able to deduct expenses for food, clothing or over the counter medication you paid for your disabled son on your Tax Return.
