Can I deduct expenses needed to administer my mother's will

My Mother lived in Pennsylvania.  I had to travel from Texas to Pennsylvania 5 times to go through her house in order to find paperwork needed to administer her will.  Are these trips deductible?

First, please let me express my condolences on the passing of your mother. 

But, unfortunately, you can't deduct these expenses.  The IRS considers this a "personal" expense, and there's no deduction available under the law.
