Can I deduct a space I donate to a non-profit dog rescue for storage of equipment, supplies and dog food used at foster homes? The space is solely used for the rescue.

The space is part of my home--a lower level w/ an exit to make it easy for fosters to come and get what they need with out coming into my house.

No.  You still retain ownership of it.  But you can deduct any supplies, etc. that you donated yourself.
