Can I deduct 2017 taxes paid in 2018?

I paid the real estate taxes for 2017 in March 2018 and paid the 2018 real estate taxes in December 2018.

Yes if you PAID them in 2018 you can enter them on your 2018 return. Remember that they are subject to the SALT limit of $10,000 for any state and local taxes paid in 2018 -- that includes property taxes and sales tax, local taxes. etc.
