Unfortunately, no. To itemize deductions like sales tax, you will need to upgrade to Deluxe.

Free Edition does not support itemized deductions; if you do not have enough other "big ticket" deductions like mortgage interest, property tax and/or medical expenses your sales tax will not have any effect on your tax due or refund. Do not upgrade just to enter sales tax.
