Can I claim my dependent child (22) income less than 4150 if they already filed their tax return? They live with me and I pay all the bills and their health insurance.

I want to claim head of household. so if my adult child(22), income under $4150 has already filed their taxes do they have to amend theirs or can we both file since I paid all bills? Since they made under $4150 can we both file tax returns?

Well yes you can claim them however if they already claimed themselves you will have to mail in your return AND they will have to amend theirs ... you do not need to wait on them, you can mail the return now.
