Medical insurance on an auto policy is not health insurance so it is not deductible.
What do you mean health insurance does not cover auto accidents?
If you are injured in an auto accident and have health insurance your injuries would be covered by the insurance for medical care, doctors, hospitals, ambulance, medications, etc.
I truly hate to disappoint you. But you are incorrect. We carry full medical and full wage loss on our full coverage auto insurance. Michigan is a no fault state. Our health insurance does not cover any auto accidents first. They are secondary auto insurance is primary. We pay big time to carry it. As we were told many times. That is why you carry auto insurance.
The medical insurance part of your auto insurance will be asked about when you prepare your Michigan tax return. You will not enter anything about it on your federal tax return.
