Can COBRA premiums be paid for from HSA distribution

Became unemployed during 2015 and received a distribution from an HSA account. Can I use the HSA distributions to pay for my COBRA premiums paid during 2015

Yes, COBRA premiums can be paid from an HSA.

Generally, health insurance premiums cannot be paid from an HSA.  Exceptions are granted if if you are collecting federal or state unemployment benefits, or you have COBRA continuation coverage through a former employer.
