Calif. is my permanent address. In 2017 I purchased a house in Idaho and son is living and paying mortgage. Do I report mortgage interest & real estate tax to Idaho?
The mortgage to the Idaho house is in my name only.

According to Idaho Individual Income Tax instructions, If you're a nonresident, you're required to file an Idaho income tax return if your gross income from Idaho sources was more than $2,500. As you did not earn any income in Idaho, you do not have a filing requirement in Idaho.
