The number the Mortgage company puts in is what they actually paid-out during 2016. IF there was a payment that went out in Jan of 2017, then that cannot be included.
If you have other RealEstate/Property/School taxes on your home that are based on the value of your home and that you paid separately between 1 Jan and 31 Dec of 2016, then you can add those to the box 10 number when you put them in.
Other "Personal Property Taxes"...boats, trailers, cars, etc. go in on a different line.
