As executrix of an estate, am I able to deduct my expenses?

"As executrix of an estate, am I able to deduct my expenses?"

No, not unless you are a professional fiduciary (in which case you would have trade or business income and be able to write off expenses therefrom).

Otherwise, expenses incurred are obligations of the estate and can be deducted from estate income. You should, therefore, be reimbursed directly by the estate for your out-of-pocket expenses.
